The mental chatter that we all experience keeps us at a distance from the power of ecstatic seeing! While language limitations vastly restrict our powers of foresight. Thus the many religious beliefs, cultures, schooling and envirenment in which we grow basically dictates our illusions of reality and specifically colors our visions of the future. For exsistance in it's cycles has no beginning or no end the hidden harmony of opposites.Truth is darkness and light,War and peace,Yin and yang the alpha and the omega Thus the Adam and the Eve for as above so below all is Devine! THE BIG BANG...... The beginning of time is the end of time. If we can view the two ends of time as poles on the axis of a sphere, we see that they connect, like an apple core. Space also bends itself into a transdimensional form, and is seen now as co-equal with time. Quantum mechanics is the study of phenomena on an atomic level. The general theory of relativity describes the force of gravity and the 'large' scale structure of the universe. Traditional science finds it impossible to incorporate the two theories into a single unified theory. Experimental data doesn't always corraborate theoretical predictions, and everyone rushes back to their laboratories, peeling off another layer, trying to see ever more deeply into the mystery. Non-traditional theorists, right-brain theorists, do not find it so difficult to unify the disparate extremes and paradoxes that permeate the cosmos... The psychedelic experience lends a view of the clockwork hiding behind creation, and the mobius of space-time. Flowers vs. Machine Guns 'Utopianism is one of the plagues of our age' (Irving Kristol) The original idea that flowered in the 1960's has been obscured by sell-outs, blurred by debauchery, and re-written by the establishment. Part of that idea was the reclaiming of power--'Power to the People', and the idea of putting common sense and feeling into the government's actions. It was 'grassroots' politics. There was a real perception of solidarity with the founding fathers-- also rebels against an out of touch, repressive power structure. This appeal for government and big business to really do the right thing, and nurture a more just society, was and still is received with utter scorn. Flowery idealism is useless in the face of a Rodney King riot, or a Newt Gingrich, but it doesn't make it wrong. The problem remains: Rather than a family ideology, the authority cultivates a consumer ideology. Instead of denying credibility to that time, perhaps we should reflect on the image of kids brave enough to speak of 'Love, and Peace, Brothers and Sisters'-- in the face of someone like Richard Nixon. During those heady years of focused (but only slightly) rebellion, was a grassroots uprising against corporate religion, and insincere, repressive 'morality'. A rebellion against the 'nuclear' family--a cold blooded advertiser's concept. It brought attention to the environment. It pointed out the wasteful, piggish destruction of nature that is the lifeblood of the dominators. The '60's' were the first years the 'Patriot as Consumer' ideology developed after WWII was ever questioned. It was the biggest division in American Culture since the Civil War, in the 1860's, and more subtle one. This division was about authenticity of life, about 'relevance', about finding more helpful answers to spiritual questions. We live in a much darker time now, the warnings are more dire, it's a lot more crowded, and the dominators wax haughty and luxuriate in their power. Light and Space-Time will have the final say, no doubt... Wavy Gravy says:'The 90's are the 60's standing on their heads. erson who uses an illegal substance is a criminal only because that substance has been criminalized. When people know in their hearts something is not that bad, and that the government is either lying and/or out of touch, that person loses respect for the system. Cigarette smokers are beginning to feel what Marijuana smokers have been feeling for a long time. When government wonders why youth is so out of control, it needs to re-examine its handling of the situation. The anti-drug hysteria is embarrassing to watch. When people see their government being so obtuse, they become a disaffected part of society. This war on some drugs is causing a factioning in our culture, which is dangerous. James Madison says in the Federalist Papers that 'the key purpose of government is to prevent the factioning of society': and this corporate directed crusade against some drugs does just that, factions, or divides society. The government has been less vicious in recent years because of Clinton, but pressure from the anal retentives like Orrin Hatch and his constituents could change that, throwing us back to Reaganesque stringency. Now, even William F. Buckley thinks the 'War on Drugs is a stupid idea. People will continue to smoke, whatever happens. But if people could have reefer as easily as they have tobacco, less of them would turn to the really ugly stuff, crack, junk, crank, etc. It would also calm them down. And it would pull the rug out from under the hard dealers, regardless of what William Bennett and Pat Robertson say. Remember this:'Getting psychedelic is one of many forms of political activism.' It adds to the planet's experience of the light, heightening the morphogenetic field. Extra Temporal Portal Home To Links reams and Morphogenesis Some theorists (Carl Jung, for example) postulate a 'collective unconscious', a kind of shared 'undermind' that we are all linked to. We dip into this place when we sleep and dream. This unconscious energy drives us and affects our moods and attitudes. When we sleep, this energy flows through our minds without restraint, and causes our image making function to fire volleys that are unfettered by logic. We call these images 'dreams.' By working with our dreams, we can untangle our subconscious motivations, complexes and urges. Many non-technological cultures give great credence to their dreams. The Australian Aborigines believe the dreamtime is the real world, and that this place we live in is the 'dream.' Gurdjieff says we are walking in our sleep, dreaming we are awake. Still others say that we are dreaming all of the time, but that our waking state drowns out the more subtle mental activity. Psychedelics sweep away the barrier between waking and dream states, an intermingling the uninitiated can find terrifying. Dream recall is difficult for some, but it can be cultivated. Recall is easily inhibited by the presence in the body of substances like pot, alcohol, and other medications. Going to sleep with a clean head assures the best dream harvest. Evolution, History, and Time Collective thought or group transformation is part of a larger system, the fractal of consciousness. The theory of Morphogenetic fields says partly that learning by one member of the group is passed to the entire collective through this invisible field, in addition to the genetic transfer we are already aware of. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
